Assistant Project Manager (Civil Construction)

Responsibilities
- Aid in planning, scheduling, supervising and coordinating all aspects of a wide range of construction projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish, paying close attention to schedule and budget details.
- Organize, file and maintain project documents.
- Maintain the company's health and safety culture, policies and requirements.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and colleagues.
Requirements
- Works directly with the Project Manager to help implement project goals.
- 3 - 5 Years of construction management experience.
- Understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient with computers and corresponding programs – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- A team player with leadership abilities.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Must pass pre-employment physical/drug screening.

- Must be 18 years of age and currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $80,000-115,000. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
