Assistant Project Manager – Building Automation Systems (BAS)

About the role

This is a strong growth role for someone looking to advance into a full BAS Project Manager position.

Responsibilities

• Support PMs with project setup, scheduling, and documentation.
• Track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project logs.
• Cook up material procurement and vendor communication.
• Aid with job cost tracking and progress billing support.
• Participate in project meetings and site coordination.
• Help maintain QA/QC and closeout documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in construction, BAS, HVAC, or controls support roles.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and building controls.
• Ability to read plans and specifications (training provided).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Projects; ERP or project software a plus.
