We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team on Eastern Massachusetts MSBA, K-12 School project sites. About the role

Support ongoing maintenance projects throughout the campus that are in the design phase and transitioning to construction. Assist the Sr. Project Manager with budget, schedule, planning, and coordination of projects, and help execute projects across the URI campus. Monitor building construction, repair, and rehabilitation projects from planning through completion to ensure proposals meet client needs and stay within cost limitations.

Responsibilities

Support the LiRo-Hill Sr. Project Manager with budget, schedule, planning, and coordination of projects
Assist Sr. Project Manager in executing projects throughout the campus
Monitor building construction, repair, and rehabilitation projects from planning through completion
Assist with coordination of construction efforts on multiple projects
Oversee/inspect the work of contractors and provide progress reports
Manage contract correspondences, submittals, requisitions, and the change order process

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related program
2-4 years of experience
Knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document review, forecast and cost scheduling, preparation of change order review, and review of payments
Must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available

Pay

Compensation range: $100,000 – $110,000. The range provided is the salary the firm in good faith believes it is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined based on the individual candidate’s qualifications and location.
