About the role
The Assistant Project Manager assists the Project Manager and Superintendent on assigned projects, helping manage overall project direction, completion, and financial outcome. This role works under supervision, coordinates on-site staff, and gathers and distributes information. Flexibility, adaptability, strong time management, communication, and client service skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Create documentation such as RFIs and client correspondence related to contract notification provisions.
- Read and understand construction plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Outline specifications required for client submissions and ensure submittals and shop drawings are approved.
- Prepare subcontract scopes and contracts.
- Assist with project close-out processes.
- Work with cost control systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience creating documentation (RFIs, client correspondence).
- 5+ years of experience reading and understanding construction plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
- 5+ years preparing subcontract scopes and contracts.
- 3+ years of experience with project close-out.
- 2+ years working with cost control systems.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Pay
Salary range: USD $99,820.00 – $129,850.00 per year.
