Responsibilities
- Work with a lead project engineer to develop a comprehensive set of system drawings and project documentation for Detention Facilities.
- Cook up coordination with programmers, technicians, installers, fabrication & testing crew.
- Provide installation instructions for technicians and installers.
- Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
- Aid Sales and Estimating staff by providing support with system design and estimation preparation.
- Actively participate in professional development and maintain knowledge of current and new technologies.
- Comply with company policies, as well as health and safety issues.
- Promote a team environment.
- Other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience or Education in Electronic Engineering Technology (EET).
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD system.
- Experience with Networking.
- Experience with Electrical construction.
- Experience as a Project Manager / Foreman.
- An understanding of Electronic Systems, such as intercommunication systems, paging systems, Access Control, Video Surveillance, HMI / PLC control systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (beyond the basics).
- Experience with Bluebeam PDF editing software.
- Must have verbal and communication skills.
- Must have Organizational skills.
- Capable of Multitasking.
- Must have a strong sense of urgency.
- Punctuality & dependability is a must.
