About the role

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Cardiology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the tenure track.

Requirements

• M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics

Responsibilities

• Teaching: medical students, residents, and fellows; formal lecture opportunities within the department
• Clinical: inpatient and/or outpatient care for patients with congenital heart disease
• Research or scholarship: independent body of work demonstrating intellectual independence; co-supervision of postdoctoral fellows, students, and research staff; coordination of NIH-funded grant efforts with local, national, and international collaborators; participation in writing grants, reports, and manuscripts
• Develop, grow, and maintain independent extramural funding
• Scholarship in high-impact publications
