Requirements
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics
Responsibilities
- Teaching: medical students, residents, and fellows; formal lecture opportunities within the department
- Clinical: inpatient and/or outpatient care for patients with congenital heart disease
- Research or scholarship: independent body of work demonstrating intellectual independence; co-supervision of postdoctoral fellows, students, and research staff; coordination of NIH-funded grant efforts with local, national, and international collaborators; participation in writing grants, reports, and manuscripts
- Develop, grow, and maintain independent extramural funding
- Scholarship in high-impact publications
