The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Cardiology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track.

Qualifications

• M.D. or equivalent degree
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology

Responsibilities

Teaching

• Didactic lectures to fellows, residents, medical students, and nursing staff on topics in general cardiology
• Curriculum development and creation of innovative teaching materials

Clinical

• Inpatient and outpatient coverage of General Cardiology Service
• Electrophysiology
• Pulmonary Hypertension
• Catheterization/Interventional Laboratory
• Heart Failure/Heart Transplant
• Echocardiography and Fetal Echocardiography at Main Hospital
• Staffing satellite offices in New Jersey and Pennsylvania

Research or Scholarship

• Establishing an area of research concentration in general cardiology

• Excellent qualifications in research
