We need to output only HTML fragment, no /. Use

for section headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections when posting has real specific content. We need to parse the posting. We have: Department, Location, Time Type, Worker Type, Job Req ID - these are metadata; we should fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it. Probably we can include a short

with location and time type etc. We need to preserve all substantive information, not invent or summarize away detail. Remove boilerplate: EEO, equal-opportunity, scam-warning, navigation, cookie, legal, application instructions? Actually we need to remove application instructions? The instruction says: Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. So we should remove the application instructions (the part about submitting PDF etc). Also remove EEO sections. Also remove Assistance and Accommodations? That might be considered boilerplate? It's not EEO but maybe still boilerplate; but it's about accommodations. Might be considered legal? Probably remove. We need to keep substantive info: Position description, responsibilities, required qualifications, preferred qualifications, additional information (salary, benefits, vacation, professional development, tenure track, etc). Also maybe include "About the role" section summarizing the position description. We need to decide sections: - About the role: could contain the position description paragraph(s) describing the role, its purpose, reporting line, contributions, etc. - Responsibilities: list of primary responsibilities (bulleted). The posting has "Primary Responsibilities." then a paragraph with multiple sentences; we can split into list items. - Requirements: maybe "Required Qualifications". Could be under Requirements or Qualifications. The instruction says use headings like Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We can choose to put Required Qualifications under "Requirements" or "Qualifications". Probably "Qualifications" for required and preferred? But we have both required and preferred. Could split: "Required Qualifications" under Requirements, "Preferred Qualifications" under Qualifications? Or we could have "Requirements" for required, "Preferred Qualifications" under Qualifications. Or we could combine both under "Qualifications" with subheadings? But we must use only the allowed headings; we cannot create custom headings like "Required Qualifications". We must use exactly those headings. So we need to map content to those headings. We have: About the role (we can use About the role heading). Responsibilities (we can use Responsibilities heading). Requirements (we can put Required Qualifications). Qualifications (we can put Preferred Qualifications). Skills (maybe we can extract skills from required/preferred: communication, collaboration, etc). Benefits (we have benefits package, vacation, professional development). Pay (we have salary range). Schedule (maybe we have full-time, twelve-month position). The posting says "This is a twelve-month, tenure track faculty position". Also "Time Type: Full time". So schedule: full-time, twelve-month. We must not create sections with filler like "commensurate with experience". We have actual salary numbers: minimum starting salary for Instructor $55,000; Assistant Professor $60,000. So we can put Pay section with that info. Benefits: "comprehensive benefits package, an annual vacation of 22 working days, and support for professional development." Also maybe mention tenure track etc but that's more about position. We need to preserve all substantive info; we must not omit details like reporting line, contributions to strategic plan, etc. So we need to include those in About the role or Responsibilities. We must not repeat the job title as heading. The job title is "Academic Belonging & Research Engagement Librarian". We should not put that as heading. We must not put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings; we can fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it. So we can include a

with location, department, time type, worker type, job req ID maybe. We must output only HTML fragment. Let's structure:

Department: Location: Belknap Campus Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Regular Job Req ID: R109377

Then

About the role

with paragraphs describing the role. Then

Responsibilities

  • items. Then

    Requirements

    with
    • for required qualifications. Then

      Qualifications

      with
      • for preferred qualifications. Then

        Skills

maybe we can list skills like verbal/written communication, collaboration, creative/flexible mindset, etc. But those are already in qualifications. Could still list them but might duplicate. However we must preserve all substantive info; we can include them under Skills if not already covered. But we might risk duplication. The instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So maybe we skip Skills section if content is thin. But we have explicit skills: "Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication. Creative and flexible mindset with an ability to successfully collaborate with others." Those could be considered skills. We could put them under Skills. But they also appear in Required Qualifications. To avoid duplication, we could put them under Skills and not repeat in Required Qualifications? But we need to preserve all info; we could keep them in Required Qualifications and not have Skills section. That's fine. Benefits:

We must not include sections with filler. All have real content. We must remove application instructions, EEO, assistance and accommodations, etc. Let's craft the About the role paragraph(s). Use the position description text: "The University of Louisville Libraries seeks forward-thinking and enthusiastic candidates for the new tenure-track position of Academic Belonging & Research Engagement Librarian. Reporting to the Associate Director of Ekstrom Library, this entry-level position will contribute directly to university priorities around student success and retention, including the LEARN pillar of UofL’s 2026–2030 Strategic Plan, which prioritizes expanding access to high-impact educational opportunities, including undergraduate research, while reducing barriers to participation and promoting equitable student outcomes. The successful candidate will join a team of highly collaborative librarians in the Research Assistance and Instruction Department and help coordinate high-impact initiatives that strengthen academic belonging, confidence, and self-efficacy among undergraduate students and create pathways into academic research environments, particularly for students who may experience barriers to participation, such as first-generation, military-connected, transfer, and other non-traditional students. The Academic Belonging & Research Engagement Librarian will support the ongoing development of our signature student success initiatives, including our First-Generation Scholars Research Fellows program, currently in the early stages of development. This new program introduces students to foundational research methods and resources, while fostering academic belonging, confidence, and scholarly identity formation. The Academic Belonging & Research Engagement Librarian will work with fellow Ekstrom librarians, other University Libraries’ librarians, and campus partners to help build and manage the fellows program, including conducting outreach to faculty and students across academic units. Other signature initiatives include our Undergraduate Research Award, Affordable Learning Program, and workforce readiness activities focusing on generative AI and emerging technologies. The Academic Belonging & Research Engagement Librarian will have an opportunity to contribute to these initiatives and will also support general research, information literacy, and liaison services in the library, primarily in the humanities. Entry-level candidates, including current MLIS students with an anticipated graduation date of December 2026, are strongly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have opportunities for mentoring and support while developing expertise in student success, liaison work, and program development." We can keep that as About the role. Responsibilities: The posting says "Primary Responsibilities." then a paragraph: "Contribute to the development and implementation of Ekstrom Library programs that advance academic belonging, confidence, and engagement, including curricular and co-curricular learning opportunities. Develop and support creative programming that builds research confidence, scholarly identity, and engagement, including the First-Generation Scholars Research Fellows program and other emerging initiatives. Create welcoming environments and pathways into Ekstrom Library services and scholarly practices for students who may have limited prior exposure to academic research environments. Collaborate with other librarians to provide liaison services for campus organizations such as the Center for Belonging, Access, and Engagement and partner with campus units to identify opportunities for scholarly engagement and participation in high-impact educational practices. Support undergraduate learning and transferable academic and research skill development by building productive relationships with academic units and providing relevant instructional and consultative services. Serve as a team member in Ekstrom Library’s Research Assistant and Instruction Department (RAI) and assume library liaison duties to academic colleges and/or departments as needed within RAI, and as they align with a candidate’s background and interests. Contribute to the development of online learning content to support student academic success. Assist with library promotional events and relationship-building activities, including outreach to first-year students during their orientation sessions. Engage in research, service, and professional development activities as a tenure-track faculty member." We can split each sentence into
        • . Required Qualifications: list: - Master’s degree from an ALA-accredited program (or international equivalent) in library or information science. - Education, experience, and/or strong interest in undergraduate learning, student engagement, and current and emerging research methodologies. - Enthusiasm for leading and contributing to innovative library programs and services. - Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication. - Creative and flexible mindset with an ability to successfully collaborate with others. - Potential to meet the University Libraries’ criteria for promotion and tenure. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with and/or knowledge of higher education trends and practices pertaining to student success, student development, and academic belonging. - Experience teaching and/or working with undergraduate students, including first-generation students and other groups. - Experience providing research assistance or other services in an academic library setting. - Background or experience working in the humanities or other academic areas relevant to the position. We could also include "Entry-level candidates, including current MLIS students with an anticipated graduation date of December 2026, are strongly encouraged to apply." That's more about eligibility; could be under Requirements or maybe a note. But we already have required qualifications; we could add as a bullet under Required Qualifications? It's not a qualification but an encouragement. Might be okay to include as a bullet under Requirements? But it's not a qualification; maybe we can put it in About the role? It's already mentioned there: "Entry-level candidates, including current MLIS students with an anticipated graduation date of December 2026, are strongly encouraged to apply." We already have that in About the role paragraph; we included it there. So fine. Now Benefits: "The successful candidate will receive a comprehensive benefits package, an annual vacation of 22 working days, and support for professional development." Also maybe mention tenure track? That's more about position. But we can keep benefits as that. Pay: "The minimum starting salary for Instructor is $55,000 per year; the minimum starting salary for Assistant Professor is $60,000 per year. Entry rank and salary are negotiated at the time of offer and are dependent on the experience and professional achievement of the successful candidate." Schedule: "This is a twelve-month, tenure track faculty position at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor." Also "Time Type: Full time". So schedule: full-time, twelve
