Assistant Professor (Summa/Akron City - Geriatrics )
Principal Functional Responsibilities
- Teaching: Faculty responsibilities will include campus-based education such as small/large group teaching, student applicant interviews, assessments/evaluations, and student advising.
- Scholarship: All faculty are expected to participate in producing scholarly work, which may include clinical and/or outcomes research, review articles, book chapters, case reports and more. Presentations at local, regional and national meetings will be expected.
- Service: Participation on departmental, College, and University committees is expected. In addition, faculty members are expected to be active in local, state and national professional organizations.
Qualifications
- Pharm.D.
- Completion of a PGY1 residency or equivalent experience
- Eligible for licensure in Ohio
- PGY2 training in Geriatrics is preferred
