About the role

The School of Social Work at the University at Buffalo is searching for a faculty colleague in the area of aging/gerontology to join our school in a tenure-track faculty position as an Assistant or Associate Professor.

Responsibilities

• Conducting fundable research
• Teaching in the school’s degree programs
• Engaging in cross-disciplinary collaboration with university colleagues
• Participating on school committees

Requirements

• A doctorate in Social Work or a related discipline
• An MSW with practice experience
• An active research agenda
• Experience having taught social work courses in seated, online, and hybrid environments

Qualifications

• A scholarly record appropriate for the rank to which they are applying
