About the role
Tusculum University seeks a dedicated and experienced faculty member to contribute to its mission of providing an active and experiential education within a caring Christian environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach lectures & labs as assigned by the Assistant Dean
- Produce syllabi for each course section per the requirements outlined in the Faculty Handbook and any additional requirements outlined by the Assistant Dean
- Keep careful attendance records for all enrolled students between the first day of classes and the published census date
- Serve as an advisor to students
- Engage in service activities that support the University's mission
- Participate in university committees and Faculty Assemblies
- Provide quality in-class instruction and mentorship outside the classroom
Requirements
- 18 graduate hours in the discipline are required
- A Master’s degree in Sport Management, or a Doctoral degree in Sport Management or a related field
- Mastery of technological competencies that facilitate 21st-century literacies is preferred
Qualifications
- Education/Experience: Master’s degree in Sport Management, plus significant work experience in the field of Sport Management, or a Doctoral degree in Sport Management or a related field
Skills
- Ability to teach effectively in a variety of settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students

Pay
The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This position requires a minimum of 12-15 credits taught in each of the fall and spring semesters.
