About the role

The University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work seeks a full-time 12-month appointment-stream faculty member to join the Office of Practicum Education. This position includes teaching social work courses, service on school committees, and responsibilities related to practicum education.

Responsibilities

  • Identify community placement opportunities
  • MATCH students to placements
  • Serve as a faculty liaison to support student learning in practicum
  • Train community practicum instructors

Requirements

  • Master of Social Work (MSW) degree
  • At least 5 years of post-MSW practice experience
  • Experience and expertise in social work practicum education and social work practice
  • Facility with academic software and technology
