About the role

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management in the Lee Business School. This position is expected to start on July 1, 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain a strong research agenda leading to publications in premier peer-reviewed journals on supply chain management and related fields.
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in supply chain management and marketing management.
  • Contribute to curriculum development as determined by the department needs.
  • Participate in departmental, college, and university service.
  • Collaborate with faculty to advance the department’s research and teaching mission.

Requirements

  • A doctoral degree in supply chain management, operations management, marketing, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Strong methodological training and the potential to develop and maintain a focused research agenda resulting in publications in premier journals.
  • Ability to teach courses in supply management and marketing effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Qualifications

  • Preference will be given to candidates with publications in leading business journals, expertise in emerging research areas of supply chain management or related marketing fields, and evidence of teaching effectiveness and strong communication skills.
