Assistant Teaching Professor - Supply Chain Management
Job Duties
- Collaborates with department faculty and staff to develop teaching strategies relevant to the discipline.
- May supervise student employees involved in development or delivery of instruction.
- Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction, including assessment of student performance.
- Advises students on academic and career direction within a specific field of study.
- Develops and designs curriculum and instructional material relevant to a course of instruction.
- Contributes to the strategic development of curriculum and academic content through various mediums to ensure the integrity of the educational mission of the work unit.
- Contributes to the development of teaching and learning scholarly work including publications and presentations.

Compensation
Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business or closely related field, with a specialization in Supply Chain Management and Logistics at time of application.
- Significant professional experience in the area of Supply Chain Management and Logistics outside of the higher education sector.
- Evidence of a commitment to quality teaching.
- Evidence of engagement in institutional, community, and professional endeavors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Disciplinary expertise in a professional context within logistics, transportation, or warehousing.
- Possessing a combination of previous teaching and practical work experience.
- Professional certification related to Supply Chain Management and Logistics.
- Knowledge and expertise on supply chain and operations analytics.
Conditions of Appointment
- The home campus of this position is Green Bay and the successful candidate may occasionally be required to teach a course or work at the Sheboygan or Manitowoc Campuses, based on operational needs.
- This position is a full-time, academic year, non-tenure track, Instructional Academic Staff appointment.
