Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (term) Division of Pediatric Critical Care (Open Rank)

Full-time, regular-term faculty position at the University of Louisville Health Sciences Center.

About the Role

The Department of Pediatrics is recruiting a BE/BC Pediatric Intensivist. Applicants with interests or additional training in pediatric cardiac intensive care, clinical research, transport medicine (including serving as the medical director of the neonatal and pediatric transport team for qualified applicants), simulation medicine, or quality improvement are encouraged to apply, though these interests are not required.

The successful candidate will contribute to an ACGME-accredited Fellowship program and participate in the training of pediatric sub-specialty fellows, pediatric residents, and medical students.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric critical care in a clinical setting.
• Engage in teaching and mentoring of fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Participate in clinical research, transport medicine, simulation medicine, or quality improvement initiatives (if applicable).
• Contribute to the academic and administrative activities of the Department of Pediatrics.
