Assistant Professor of Pediatric Plastic Hand Surgery at CHOP

About the role

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track.

Qualifications

• M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
• Board certified with the American Board of Plastic Surgery or eligible for such certification
• Completion of an accredited hand surgery fellowship preferred

Responsibilities

• Teaching: Clinical and didactic instruction of medical students and plastic or orthopedic surgery residents
• Clinical: Building a practice in hand surgery, with additional duties in either plastic or orthopedic surgery depending on candidate training
• Research/Scholarship: Clinical and/or basic science investigations in the field of plastic or orthopedic surgery and, specifically, hand surgery

The faculty appointment will be in the Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery at CHOP. Location: Philadelphia, PA.
