About the role
The Department of Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track.
Responsibilities
- Expertise in the specific area of brain tumor surgery and brain tumor research.
- Must have an M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree.
- Must be board eligible or certified.
- Teaching responsibilities may include the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Clinical responsibilities may include the neurosurgical management of brain tumors and oversight of the multi-disciplinary care of brain tumor patients, including clinical trials, with a particular focus on gliomas.
- Research or scholarship responsibilities may include translational and/or basic research in brain tumors, with funding from the National Institutes of Health and other federal funding agencies as Principal Investigator (PI).
Requirements
