Assistant Professor of Mathematics

Position Summary
- Teach lower and upper-level mathematics courses.
- Advise and mentor undergraduate Mathematical Science majors.
- Engage in scholarly research and grant writing.
- Establish externally funded research program.
- Participate in departmental and university committees and other service.
- Demonstrate proficiency in various teaching modalities: in-person, virtual, or online.
Qualifications
Required:
- Ph.D. in Mathematics or related discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
- Prior U.S. college/university teaching experience or equivalent.
- Outstanding promise in scholarship, research, or creative activity.
- Legal authorization to work in the US (no visa sponsorship provided).
Preferred/Additional Skills:
- Experience in research grant writing and securing funding.
- Strong mentoring/advising skills.
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion.
