Qualifications
Ph.D. in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (required). Teaching experience is highly desirable. Expertise in applied mathematics or statistics is preferred. Strong commitment to undergraduate education and ability to teach courses across all levels of the undergraduate mathematics curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate mathematics courses (standard teaching load: 24 semester credit hours per year).
- Advise students and participate in departmental and university-wide service.
- Engage in curriculum development and mentor undergraduate research projects.
- Support the Catholic, Benedictine liberal arts mission of the university.
