Assistant Professor of Instruction - Health Informatics - School of Information
About the role
The School of Information at the University of South Florida seeks to fill a nine-month, full-time, non-tenure-earning, Assistant Professor of Instruction position with a start date of August 7, 2026. Salary is negotiable.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Health Informatics, Information Science, or closely-related field based on education and professional experience that meet national and/or regional accreditation standards is required. Applications from individuals who are ABD will be accepted, but the degree must be conferred by appointment start date.
- Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor of Instruction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preference will be given to applicants who can teach courses in health informatics, health information technology, machine learning/artificial intelligence in health, human factors, clinical decision support and/or health Information security.
