About the role

The Marist University School of Management is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor of Economics for a tenure-stream position. This is a tenure-track position in economics, seeking faculty members able to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in economics, quantitative reasoning, and related subjects.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.
  • Maintain a robust program of disciplinary research resulting in peer-reviewed publications.
  • Participate in the life of the School and its activities, including committee work, student advising, and community outreach activities.

Requirements

  • Terminal degree in economics or closely related field (Ph.D., or A.B.D. with projected completion by December 2027).
  • Professional experience is also highly desirable.
