About the role

The Division of Allergy and Immunology in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch is recruiting for a full-time faculty position in adult allergy/immunology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient and inpatient allergy/immunology care across multiple sites
  • Perform and interpret skin testing, patch testing, spirometry, FENO, and PFTs
  • Manage immunotherapy, oral food/drug challenges, and desensitization
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients
  • Supervise and train fellows, residents, and students in clinical and procedural care
  • Teach diagnostic interpretation and participate in didactic conferences
  • Mentor trainees and support fellowship recruitment and program development
  • Engage in community education and outreach in allergy/immunology

Requirements

  • M.D. or equivalent medical professional degree
  • Must be Board Certified or Eligible in Allergy and Immunology
  • Eligibility for Texas medical licensure

Qualifications

  • Strong background in allergy/immunology
  • Interest in teaching
  • Excellent communication skills
