Assistant Professor of Clinical - OBGYN, Labor and Delivery

About the role

This position serves as an attending physician in the Division of OB/GYN Generalists within the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care
• Participate in inpatient practice at multiple hospitals
• Mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
• Develop treatment plans and perform physical assessments
• Prescribe treatments and ensure patient safety and confidentiality
• Cover 12-hour shifts in labor and delivery
• Provide consultations
• Utilize electronic health records
• Engage in teaching, research, and collaborative patient care
• Contribute to a diverse, high-volume clinical environment with opportunities for professional growth

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active Florida Medical License
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to handle confidential information
