Assistant Professor of Clinical - Neurological Surgery, Neruosciences

About the Role

The Department of Neurological Surgery is seeking an Assistant Professor specializing in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for neurosurgical disorders, including:

• Movement, pain, and behavior disorders
• Severe injuries resulting from trauma
• Seizure disorders

This individual will provide clinical care at UHealth Tower and other UM locations, the Miami Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and Jackson Main Hospital.

Requirements

• Completion of a full Neurological Surgery Residency Program
• One-year Fellowship in at least one of the following: Functional, Trauma, or Epilepsy
• Board eligibility in Neurosurgery
• Florida medical license or license eligibility

Qualifications

Strong research and academic interest is desired.
