About the Role

The Department of Neurological Surgery is seeking an Assistant Professor with full training in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques and procedures related to:

• Neurosurgical disorders affecting movement, pain, and behavior
• Surgical treatment of severe injuries resulting from trauma
• Surgical treatment of seizure disorders

This individual will perform clinical duties at UHealth Tower and other UM locations, the Miami Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and Jackson Main Hospital.

Requirements

• Completion of a full Neurological Surgery Residency Program
• Completion of a one-year Fellowship in at least one of the following fields: Functional, Trauma, or Epilepsy
• Board eligibility in Neurosurgery
• Florida medical license or license eligibility
• Strong research and academic interest desired
