About the role
The Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC seeks candidates for a clinical-track faculty position focused on clinical and didactic teaching within the predoctoral dental curriculum. The selected candidate will have opportunities to develop their research interests and access to a community of multidisciplinary scientists, mentorship, and resources to support a competitive, independent research program.
Responsibilities
- Clinical and didactic teaching within the predoctoral dental curriculum
- Development of research interests
Requirements
- DDS or DMD degree (or equivalent)
- Valid California dental license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of completion from an ADA-accredited program in Periodontics
- Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Periodontology
Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience in an academic setting
- Demonstrated research accomplishments
- Advanced graduate training (M.S. or Ph.D.) in biology, microbiology, or related fields (preferred)
Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $59,000–$62,000.
