About the role

The IU School of Medicine (IUSM) Department of Anatomy, Cell Biology & Physiology (ACBP) seeks a clinical-track faculty member with a PhD and/or MD degree. The successful candidate will teach anatomical disciplines to medical and health professional students, oversee departmental outreach programs, and engage in interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Teach anatomical disciplines to medical and health professional students
  • Oversee departmental outreach programs providing science outreach for K-12 and post-secondary students
  • Mentor graduate and health professional students in medical education projects
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration across the School of Medicine and IU-Indianapolis campus

Requirements

  • Doctorate or terminal degree required

Qualifications

  • Significant background in teaching anatomical disciplines
  • Ability to mentor graduate and health professional students in medical education projects

Skills

  • Highly collaborative and eager to work in interdisciplinary teams
