About the role

The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College, Department of Business & Economics invites applications for an Assistant Professor tenure track position in Business beginning August 15, 2025.

Essential Functions

  • Conducting and teaching assigned courses and seminars in the field of business for twelve credit hours per term, during fall and spring semesters, including day, evening, and online classes.
  • Evaluating student coursework.
  • Engaging in professional activity, such as research, papers, and presentations related to pedagogy and/or in the faculty member's discipline.
  • Attending departmental meetings and preparing materials for teaching.
  • Evaluating and developing curriculum for the department and/or college.
  • May serve as an academic advisor.
  • Participating in the governance and committee work of the Department, College, and University.
  • Rendering service to the professional or lay community, such as committee membership (leadership roles), or volunteer service, which is relevant to the individual's academic specialty.

Minimum Requirements

  • Prior to effective date of appointment: A Master's degree (or higher) in Business Administration or a related field;
  • One (1) academic year of college-level teaching experience, which must have included teaching at least one (1) course in a discipline area such as Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, Marketing, Finance or a related discipline area.
