About the role

The Assistant Professor of Nursing is responsible for providing high-quality education to nursing students at Baptist Health College Little Rock (BHCLR). This role involves a combination of developing and delivering content, engaging in immersive experiences, and service to the academic community. The Assistant Professor will engage in scholarly activities, mentor and advise students, maintain accurate records of student progress and performance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursing program. Limited remote work may be acceptable for this position.

Requirements

  • MSN required; Doctoral Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of direct patient care nursing experience required.
  • Minimum of four years of teaching experience required.
  • Minimum of two years of full-time equivalent distance education teaching experience preferred; distance education learning experience may be considered.
  • Unencumbered Arkansas or compact state nursing license.
  • Current BLS required.

Schedule

Day shift; authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
