Join Our Team as a Nursing Educator at Alfred State! Are you passionate about shaping the next generation of nurses? Alfred State is seeking dedicated nursing educators for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position starting Fall 2026

What You'll Do

  • Develop and deliver engaging course materials.
  • Teach and evaluate students in classrooms, labs, and clinical settings.
  • Mentor and advise students throughout their nursing journey.
  • Play an active role in curriculum development, program assessment, and student recruitment.

Required Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing or Nursing Education, or ability to complete NYS Professional Nursing License & current CPR certification
  • Strong teaching, clinical, communication, and computer skills
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational abilities

Preferred

  • Doctorate in Nursing or related field
  • Experience with simulation-based learning
  • Background in psychiatric care (strongly encouraged to apply)

  • The starting salary for this position is $65,000.
