About the role

Provide service to the School of Nursing, College of Health Professions, University, and nursing profession/community.

Responsible for assisting with the accreditation process of the MSN program.

Work with full and part time faculty.

Curricular development, revision, and evaluation.

Active engagement in student recruitment, admission, and progression.

Solicit external funding for programmatic enhancements.

Establish partnerships to support the program's mission.

Lead evaluation of program and students' outcomes.

Teach students in the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program and advise graduate nursing students.

Engage in scholarship and research.

Qualifications

PhD in Nursing or related field.

Experience in higher education, preferably in nursing education.

Strong record of scholarly activity, including publications and presentations.

Ability to teach effectively at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Experience with program development, accreditation, and student success.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.

Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with high-impact teaching practices.

Experience with interdisciplinary programs of study.

Experience with community-based learning, critical thinking, first-year seminar, writing across curriculum, etc.

Nine month tenure-track position starting in the Fall of 2024.
