Assistant Professor Nursing BSN Program

About the Role

The Assistant Professor of Nursing is responsible for providing high-quality education to nursing students at Baptist Health College Little Rock (BHCLR). This role involves developing and delivering content, engaging in immersive experiences, and service to the academic community. Responsibilities include scholarly activities, mentoring and advising students, maintaining accurate records of student progress and performance, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the nursing program. Limited remote work may be acceptable for this position.

Requirements

• MSN required; Doctoral Degree in Nursing preferred
• Minimum of two years of direct patient care nursing experience
• Minimum of four years of teaching experience
• Minimum of two years of full-time equivalent distance education teaching experience preferred (distance education learning experience may be considered)
• Unencumbered Arkansas or compact state nursing license
• Current BLS certification

Schedule

Day shift, authorized 80.0 hours bi-weekly.
