About the role
Provides classroom and clinical/laboratory instruction for College of Nursing students in the nursing major, including preparation of content, assignments, and evaluation of student clinical and academic progress. Interacts with health team members in cooperating clinical agencies to facilitate student learning and promote quality nursing care for patients. Participates in the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the College of Nursing’s total educational programs. Acts as a change agent and leader to create a preferred future for nursing education and nursing practice.
Pay
$31.29 - $48.51/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is a salaried position.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree with a major in nursing (MS or MSN)
- At least two years’ experience in clinical nursing as required by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulations
- Licensure in Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
Qualifications
- Evidence of official enrollment in a doctoral program
- Previous teaching experience, preferably in a baccalaureate nursing program
