About The Job
The University of Minnesota’s Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences is seeking a Doctoral level, Licensed Mental Health Practitioner, and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, for an academic track faculty position at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level. This is a full-time position that will consist of 0.65 clinical FTE, working out of the UMMC Emergency Department, with 0.35 academic FTE reserved for research and other academic activities.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong foundation and career experience in assessment and treatment of Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDD). There is a significant need for specialized behavioral expertise to support ED staff in managing and de-escalating behavioral crises in NDD individuals promptly and effectively.

Pay And Benefits
Pay Range: This role is dually employed by the University of Minnesota and University of Minnesota Physicians. Salary at the University of Minnesota is dependent upon academic effort of the person hired, and begins at $55,000. Clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through University of Minnesota Physicians. Total salary is competitive with market and based on AAMC salary benchmarks.
