About the role

The Division of Renal-Electrolyte and Hypertension in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care for patients with complex hypertension in both inpatient and outpatient settings at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
  • Treatment of patients with neuroendocrine tumors, with certification by the American Society of Hypertension preferred.
  • Teaching responsibilities, including medical students, residents, and fellows.

Requirements

  • An M.D. or equivalent degree.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Nephrology.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in the specific area of care of patients with complex hypertension.

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills in managing complex hypertension cases.
  • Ability to teach effectively to medical students, residents, and fellows.
