Assistant Professor Nephrology-Hypertension, Academic Clinician Track

About the role

The Division of Renal-Electrolyte and Hypertension in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for patients with complex hypertension.
• Taught medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Engage in research related to complex hypertension and neuroendocrine tumors.
• Participate in clinical services at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Requirements

• M.D. or equivalent degree.
• Board certified or board eligible in Nephrology.
• Expertise in treating patients with complex hypertension and neuroendocrine tumors.
• Certification by the American Society of Hypertension preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills in managing complex hypertension cases.
• Experience in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Active and high-quality teaching responsibilities.
