About the role

Tenure‑track Assistant Professor position in the History Department of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Scranton.

Responsibilities

• Teach the World History survey course.
• Teach additional courses in areas of expertise, including courses on the British Empire with a focus on the Global South (South/Southeast Asia, Africa, etc.).
• Maintain an active scholarly research program.
• Provide service to the Department, University, and community.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in History (minimum education requirement).

• Tenure‑track appointment as Assistant Professor.
• Full‑time position.
