About the role

The Department of Ophthalmology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and the Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) seeks an Assistant Professor in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical and surgical glaucoma care for patients at Scheie, the Philadelphia VA, and one of Scheie's satellite offices.
• Teach residents, students, and fellows at Scheie and the Philadelphia VA.

Requirements

• Expertise in the specific area of Glaucoma.
• An M.D. or equivalent degree.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for and able to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license.
• Must be eligible for and able to obtain an unrestricted VA medical license.

Skills

• Excellent clinical skills in glaucoma management.
