Glaucoma Specialist (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor)

About the role

The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida invites applications for a full-time faculty position specializing in Glaucoma topractice at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. This role offers an immediate opportunity to engage in a busy tertiary clinical practice within a well-established, longstanding department supported by a brand-new, state-of-the-art clinic and surgery center. In addition to providing excellence in patient care, the position includes opportunities to develop independent and collaborative research initiatives and innovative educational programs within an academic medical center.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellence in patient care within a tertiary clinical practice.
• Develop independent and collaborative research initiatives.
• Create and participate in innovative educational programs, including resident training.
• Engage in academic activities and teaching.

Requirements

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited ophthalmology residency program.
• Postgraduate fellowship training in Glaucoma.
• Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology.
• Licensure (or eligibility) to practice medicine in the State of Florida.

Pay

Expected salary range: $240,000 - $300,000, commensurate with education and experience.
