Assistant Professor Education - RSCC Internal Applicants Only

Job Duties

• Plan and teach Education courses as outlined in the course descriptions and course syllabi.
• Advise Education students.
• Teach live, online, and web-enhanced Education courses.
• Serve as liaison to the Education community.
• Serve on college committees and attend college functions as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• A master’s degree or higher in Education from an accredited institution.
• An active TN Teaching License.
• Experience in teaching K-12.
• Experience teaching at the college level.

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidate must have good oral and written communication skills, the ability to work with students of all ages, and exhibit flexibility and collegiality.
• Experience with alternate delivery methods such as online, interactive, synchronous, and hybrid.
