About the role
The Martha Dickerson Eriksson College of Education at Austin Peay State University (APSU) invites applications for qualified candidates for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor – Special Education position. The position will begin in August, 2018.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in special education
- Conduct research in special education
- Participate in college and university committees
- Maintain a strong record of scholarly activity
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with community organizations
Requirements
- A doctoral degree in Special Education or related field from an accredited institution
- Strong teaching and mentoring skills
- Experience in special education research
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
