Assistant Professor - DNP

Responsibilities

• Cross-cultural communication skills, with multicultural sensitivity and experience interacting effectively with diverse students, faculty, and staff desired.
• Lead in scholarship, education, and service
• Responsible for the accreditation process of the DNP program.
• Work with full and part time faculty.
• Curricular development, revision, and evaluation.
• Active engagement in student recruitment, admission, and progression
• Solicit external funding for programmatic enhancements.
• Establish partnerships to support the mission of the program.
• Lead evaluation of program and students’ outcomes.
• Teach, advise, and chair doctoral projects in the graduate program.
• Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the program.

Qualifications

• Holds a DNP degree with national board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
• Excellence in didactic and clinical teaching at the graduate level.
• A record of scholarship.
