Responsibilities
- Teach 24 credits per academic year – 12 credits in both the fall and spring semesters (4 lecture courses each semester, or equivalent).
- Advise up to 25 students.
- Attend department, school, and college meetings.
- Participate in accreditation processes.
- Engage in professional development, scholarship, research, and/or publishing.
- Aid in curriculum development.
- Participate in department, school, and college service.
- Maintain and post regular office hours.
- Perform other duties as required and as outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Endicott College Faculty Association (ECFA) and Endicott College.
- Participate in course development and implementation.
- Evaluate teaching/learning activities.
- Participate in governance, including the School of Nursing All School Committee and other committees as appointed.
Qualifications
- A doctorate in Nursing or a related field is required.
- Must have or be eligible for RN licensure in Massachusetts.
- Hold at least one graduate degree in nursing in the area of specialization required for the faculty appointment.
- 3-5 years of experience in the related field of nursing.
- Prior teaching experience in a nursing program is desired.
- Demonstrated ability to relate to a diverse student body.
- Commitment to scholarship appropriate to the rank.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Benefits
This position carries a fixed annual salary of $98,602.12 for a 12-month appointment. This amount represents base salary only and does not include benefits or other forms of compensation.
