Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation of classroom and clinical instruction.
- Participate in student advising and registration processes.
- Full and active participation in Department of Nursing committees to assist in the continued evolution of the Department.
- Demonstrate professional integrity and commitment to professional nursing.
- Be available for counseling and advising students, and participate in academic activities.
- Maintain a regular schedule and punctuality to meet teaching commitments.
- Make up classes/clinical sessions missed and be available for appointments outside office hours.
- Inform students of mid-term and end-term progress during advisement meetings.
- File course outlines (syllabi) with the Chairperson, review rosters, submit attendance rosters, and submit final grades to the Registrar.
- Manage clinical sections as Course Coordinators, including curriculum planning, syllabus development, and coordination with clinical instructors.
- Participate in various committees, including accreditation reports, candidacy drafts, and self-study reports to the Accrediting agency and the State.
Requirements
- Must be a DNP-prepared Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from an accredited institution.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Canvas, and the internet.
- Current NY State Professional RN license and CPR certification.
- Family Nurse Practitioner Certification.
- Ability to sit, stand, enter data, operate office equipment, hear, speak, see, and perform physical tasks related to clinical scenarios.

- Occasional local travel for training sessions/meetings.

Pay
USD $105,000.00/Yr. - USD $84,000.00/Yr.
Schedule
- Occasional evenings for Information Sessions.
- Occasional weekends.
