Position Summary

Austin Peay State University invites applications for an Engineering Technologist or Engineer with expertise in teaching Construction Engineering Technology as related to Residential, Commercial, and Commercial High-Rise structures. The initial rank for the person hired will be Assistant Professor. Preference will be given to those capable of teaching both lower and upper division courses in the construction areas described. This is a full-time, 9-month tenure-track faculty position beginning August 1, 2018.

About the Role

The successful candidate will develop and teach courses in Construction Engineering Technology. The individual hired to fill this position will be expected to engage in research and professional activities. That person will be required to contribute to the growth and development of the department through recruiting activities, serve on departmental and university committees, and participate in a variety of departmental activities.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Engineering Technology or related field
