About the role

The Emory University’s Department of Otolaryngology seeks one (1) full-time Comprehensive/General Otolaryngologist at the rank of Assistant Professor to join a robust team.

Responsibilities

  • Primary duties at Emory Lagrange in Lagrange, GA.
  • Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
  • Participate in scholarly activities.
  • Provide patient care.
  • Have an academic appointment in the Emory University School of Medicine.

Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Otolaryngology.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in academic otolaryngology.
  • Eligibility for a valid, unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the state of Georgia.
  • A Controlled Substance Registration Drug Enforcement Administration Certificate.

Qualifications

  • Preferred research and publication history.
  • Experience in clinical and research mentorship.
  • A national reputation among colleagues within the otolaryngology field.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively.
  • Strong leadership and teaching abilities.
