Assistant Professor - Clinical/Teaching Faculty in Neurocritical Care - AC Track

About the role

The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching of fellows, residents and medical students through bedside rounds and a formal didactic curriculum.
  • Attending on all services of the Neurocritical Care Division, including primary inpatient NeuroICU Services at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
  • Experience in the field of Neurology with completion of a fellowship in Neurocritical care.
  • Demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care.

Requirements

  • M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
  • Board-certified in Neurology.
  • Board-certified or eligible in Neurocritical Care after completing an ACGME-approved or UCNS-approved fellowship in Neurocritical Care.

Qualifications

Applicants must have experience in the field of Neurology with completion of a fellowship in Neurocritical care, and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care.
