Assistant Professor - Clinical/Teaching Faculty in Neurocritical Care - AC Track

About the role

The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Responsibilities

• Teaching of fellows, residents and medical students through bedside rounds and a formal didactic curriculum
• Teaching in the Perelman School of Medicine through formal courses, such as the Brain and Behavior Course
• Attending on all services of the Neurocritical Care Division, including primary inpatient NeuroICU Services at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center
• Experience in the field of Neurology with completion of a fellowship in Neurocritical care
• Demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care

Requirements

• M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
• Board-certified in Neurology
• Board-certified or eligible in Neurocritical Care after completing an ACGME-approved or UCNS-approved fellowship in Neurocritical Care

Qualifications

• Experience in the field of Neurology with completion of a fellowship in Neurocritical care
• Demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care

• Excellent teaching skills
• Strong clinical skills
