About the role
The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.
Responsibilities
- Teaching of fellows, residents and medical students through bedside rounds and a formal didactic curriculum
- Teaching in the Perelman School of Medicine through formal courses, such as the Brain and Behavior Course
- Attending on all services of the Neurocritical Care Division, including primary inpatient NeuroICU Services at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center
- Experience in the field of Neurology with completion of a fellowship in Neurocritical care
- Demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care
Requirements
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
- Board-certified in Neurology
- Board-certified or eligible in Neurocritical Care after completing an ACGME-approved or UCNS-approved fellowship in Neurocritical Care
Qualifications
- Experience in the field of Neurology with completion of a fellowship in Neurocritical care
- Demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care
Skills
- Excellent teaching skills
- Strong clinical skills
