Assistant Professor (Clinical) Peds Ophthalmology
We are actively seeking a pediatric ophthalmologist to join the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the John A. Moran Eye Center, University of Utah.
About the role
This full-time clinical track faculty position focuses on the medical and surgical care of pediatric and adult patients in our Moran clinics. The role includes clinical and/or basic research opportunities, as well as resident and fellow teaching and training in both clinic and operating room settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care for pediatric and adult ophthalmology patients
- Perform surgical procedures as needed
- Engage in clinical and/or basic research projects
- Teach and train residents and fellows in clinic and operating room settings
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency
- Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology
- Fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology
