About the role
The Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, through Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition in the Department of Pediatrics, seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in either the non‑tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track. Expertise is required in the specific areas of education, research, and clinical care.
Responsibilities
- Teaching medical students, residents, and fellows; participating in family education days.
- Providing outstanding outpatient, inpatient, and procedural care at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and/or its satellites.
- Assisting with augmenting basic, translational, and/or clinical research initiatives in liver disease, motility, bile duct development, gastrointestinal allergies, nutrition, inflammatory bowel disease, and microbiome research.
Requirements
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
- Board certified in Pediatrics and/or Gastroenterology.
